Por razones diferentes, Mark Adams y Miriam Maldonado Escobar sintieron obligados a migrar a la frontera a los finales de los años 90, donde se conocieron. Dejaron atrás sus hogares y sueños para encontrar una nueva comunidad y un nuevo propósito. Criaron a su familia y han dedicado sus vidas a trabajar con la iglesia presbiteriana para ayudar a miles de migrantes vulnerables cada año.
