Children's Health Insurance Extended for Six Years

Exploring the effect of CHIP on health care in Southern Arizona.

The same measure that ended the shutdown, produced a long-term solution to the Children’s Health Insurance Program known as CHIP. It was reauthorized for another 6 years after funds expired in September. Christopher Conover has more about what that means for health care providers in Tucson.
